This dedicated group of volunteers is a non-profit organization committed to addressing a critical need at Monticello High School: the shortage of library books available to students. Currently, the school’s library holds just 2.9 per student, far below the American Library Association's recommendation of 15 books per pupil. These figures exclude electronic resources and required textbooks, underscoring the urgency of the cause.
Rally to Read: Monticello High School Library Fundraiser is raising funds to expand the library’s collection and ensure students have access to the resources they need to succeed academically and foster a lifelong love of reading.
