To engage in the Young Professionals of Monticello Events, individuals aged 18 to 35 must represent a Chamber Member Business in good standing with the Monticello Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Please note, the Young Professionals of Monticello group does have an additional membership fee. This fee ensures that members can access valuable benefits, attend events, and contribute to the vibrant community of young professionals. It's a great opportunity to connect, learn, and grow! To learn more about membership cost, please feel free to contact a planning team member at ypmonticello@gmail.com.
Join us for a dynamic morning of insight and inspiration at our monthly Young Professionals of Monticello meeting as we kick off September with a focus on Personal Development. This month’s event features a panel of local professionals who will share takeaways from a personal or professional development book that has made a meaningful impact on their growth.
Each panelist will introduce the book they read, reflect on what they learned, and offer real-world insights into how it's shaped their career or life journey.
Sarah Sundine, President at UMC – discussing Good Boundaries & Goodbyes by Lysa TerKeurst
Dexter Hanson, Community Engagement at CMMHC – discussing Dare to Lead by Brene Brown
Gabrielle Lien, Management Trainee at Priemer Bank Monticello – discussing The Art of Possibility by Rosamund Stone Zander & Benjamin Zander
This is a great opportunity to discover new reads, connect with peers, and spark conversations that help us all grow together.
We’re excited to see this event come to life and continue building connections among Monticello Chamber young professionals aged 18 to 35.
