Wildflower Tour on Saturday, September 8, 10:00am to 12:00pm, Oak Savanna Learning Center The fall Wildflower Tour will be held on Saturday, September 9, beginning at 10:00am. Meet your guide, Refuge Volunteer Robin DeLong, at the Oak Savanna Learning Center (16797 289th Ave. NW, Zimmerman, MN 55398) to begin the car caravan tour. This tour will consist of driving and walking short distances to see a variety of fall blooms.
For both tours, please wear weather appropriate clothing and close-toed shoes and, if you choose, bring binoculars, camera, field guides, water, a snack, sunscreen, and bug spray. Be advised that poison ivy is common on the refuge.
