Art in the Park 2026
Join us for a one-of-a-kind shopping experience at Monticello's Art in the Park, where creativity comes to life along the beautiful banks of the Mississippi River. This juried art and craft fair features talented vendors showcasing unique, hand-crafted treasures you won't find anywhere else. From stunning artwork and home decor to jewelry and gifts, there's something for everyone to discover.
While you shop, enjoy the flavors of our Taste of Monticello, happening alongside the event. Sample delicious bites from local eateries and savor the vibrant community atmosphere.

Fees & Admission: Art in the Park Vendor Show
Booth Costs & Sizes
- Standard Booth Sizes:
- 10' x 12' Booth: $125 ($100 with Early Bird Discount before Feb 14th)
- 12' x 20' Double Booth: $250 ($200 with Early Bird Discount before Feb 14th)
Important Dates
- Application Deadline: All applications must be postmarked by July 1, 2026, to be considered for acceptance. Applications postmarked after this date will incur a $40 late fee.
- Cancellation Policy: Full refunds are available for cancellations made by June 13, 2026. Cancellations after this date are non-refundable.
- Final Deadline: No applications will be accepted after July 7, 2026, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Vendor Requirements
- Vendors must provide their own tables, chairs, and tents.
- Tents must be weighted (no stakes allowed).
- Driving in the park is strictly prohibited.
- Electricity and generators are not available.
Juried Arts & Crafts Show –
Accepted work must be:

Original

Handmade or artist-designed

Produced or significantly transformed by the artist

Not mass-produced, commercially manufactured, or resold
The artist applying must be the primary creator, not simply an assembler, printer-for-hire, or reseller.
General Jury Guidelines (All Mediums)

Artist designs and creates the work

Artist controls the materials, process, and final outcome

Minor tools or equipment are used to assist, not replace, craftsmanship

Work shows originality, artistic intent, and individual skill

Limited production is acceptable if created by the artist

Buy-sell or resale items

Commercial kits or templates with minimal modification

Factory-produced components that dominate the finished piece

Items purchased wholesale and altered superficially

Work produced primarily by automated machines without artistic intervention
PLEASE NOTE - 3D-Printed Work MAY be accepted only if ALL criteria are met:

Original Design

The exhibitor must have personally designed the digital file

Files downloaded, purchased, or shared from online libraries (e.g., Thingiverse, Etsy STL files) are not allowed

Artist Control of Process

The artist operates the printer themselves

The artist determines materials, settings, scale, and structure

Printing services or third-party production is not permitted

Substantial Artistic Modification
At least ONE of the following must apply:-
Hand finishing (sanding, shaping, painting, staining)

Assembly into a larger original artwork

Integration with other handcrafted elements (wood, metal, textiles, etc.)

Functional or sculptural transformation beyond raw print

3D-Printed Work is NOT ACCEPTABLE if:

Items are printed and sold “as-is” with no modification

Designs are not original to the artist

Products resemble mass-market items, fidget toys, or novelty trinkets

Production volume suggests commercial manufacturing

The printer is doing the “art,” not the artist

Artistic Intent

The final piece reflects creative expression—not novelty gadgets, toys, or mass-market décor

Items should align with the spirit of an arts & crafts show, not a tech expo
