Description
This presentation will explore how to lead when we are struggling with our own stress and uncertainty. As leaders we tend to focus on the care of our staff and community, sometimes at the expense of ourselves. We will explore some of the symptoms we can experience, both at work and in our personal life, if we are not also caring for ourselves. During the presentation, our speaker Dr. Loos with Central MN Mental Health Center, will encourage participants to reflect on their own work and provide feedback about how job specific struggles may relate to these themes. The presentation will close with a philosophical look at self-care and strategies to use to create a culture of self-care in your organization.
