SUMMARY:City/County/State Commercial Property Tax Information & Legislative Update
DESCRIPTION:Tom Kelley\, Greg Kramber & Bruce Anderson will be available this morning to talk with business owners about the reasons for commercial property tax increases in 2012 when most businesses saw a decrease in value on their tax statements.  Also\, this is your opportunity to share with elected officials what these increases mean to your business and what you will need to do within your business to compensate for these increases.  This is a great opportunity to have an open dialoge about this issue.\n\n\n\nThe MN Chamber of Commerce policy staff provides updates on the latest activity at the State Legislature\, including the status of business community priorities during the Legislative Session.  The calls include timely information about key legislators\, key issues and calls to action.  All calls run from 7:30 - 8:00 AM  Callers are placed in the "listen only" mode for the first 15 minutes.  At 7:45 am lines are opened up for questions around the state.  The Conference Call Series is held in conjunctions with Monticello Chamber's Government Affairs Committee.  Anyone is welcome to join this teleconference. No pre-registration is required.
